How it works

Forced-aeration, in-vessel composting.

A low-energy blower actively pumps air through the mix to maintain fully aerobic conditions — no manual turning required.

Food scraps, green waste, and other organics, balanced for carbon, nitrogen, and moisture.

The blower cycles air through the mass on a timer, keeping it fully aerobic.

Heat up to kill pathogens

Within 24–72 hours, temperatures rise to 55–65°C, killing pathogens, weed seeds, and fly larvae.

Using it day to day

Simple to run.

Two habits keep it running well: a daily 1:1 feeding ratio, and a weekly check on moisture, temperature, and leachate.

Daily loading — 1:1 ratio

  • Add food waste: one kitchen bucket (≈3–5L) of veg/fruit scraps, coffee grounds, small amounts of cooked food, rice, pasta, bread, or eggshells.
  • Add a carbon layer: cover immediately with one bucket of wood shavings — this prevents odor and keeps airflow open.

Weekly checks

  • Moisture: should feel like a wrung-out sponge. Too wet, add more wood shavings; too dry, add a splash of water.
  • Temperature: ideal 40–60°C during active composting — lower is normal once mature.
  • Leachate: drain weekly using the valve. Dilute 1:10 before applying to plants.

When the bin is full, stop adding new material and let it rest for 1–3 weeks while aeration continues — the pile will shrink, stabilize, and be ready to harvest.

What to expect.

What can go into the Oxygen Composter?
Vegetable and fruit scraps, coffee grounds, small amounts of cooked food, rice and pasta, bread, and eggshells — layered 1:1 with wood shavings as a carbon cover.
Will it smell?
It's designed to stay low-odor: the forced-air system keeps the pile aerobic, and covering each load of food waste with wood shavings right away is what controls smell most.
How long until I get finished compost?
Under active feeding, the pile heats to 55–65°C within 24–72 hours, killing pathogens and weed seeds. After 2–3 weeks of feeding and aeration, compost is ready to harvest — stabilized and odor-free.
Does delivery and installation come with it?
Yes — the AED 1,100 package includes delivery and installation in Dubai. For other emirates, message us on WhatsApp to check options.
What support do I get after I buy it?
Two months of remote guidance covering feeding ratios, moisture and odor troubleshooting, temperature interpretation, and feedback on photos you send us.
Do I need worms too?
